Test Information
Type and Screen samples drawn at MHMH must be appropriately labeled and must have a BLOOD LOCK CODE recorded on the tube, include a future surgical date if appropriate, and must have collection information entered in Epicat the time of collection. Additional testing will be performed on unexpected results. This automated method cannot be done on specimens collected in microtainers.
