After drawing, place tube on warm (37C) infant heel warmer (PeopleSoft # 0036214). Deliver to lab IMMEDIATELY (within 30 mins).

Shipping and Handling
Processing Instructions: Specimen MUST be received on warm infant heel warmer within 30 mins of drawing. Place tube in 37C water bath for minimum of 2 hours, centrifuge and separate from cells immediately. Place separated serum in water bath.Transport Temperature: Ambient
Transport Instructions: Place separated serum in water bath until transporting to DHMC at room temperature.
