Test Information
Plasma creatinine must be drawn within the time frame of 24 hours prior to the beginning of urine collection, or no later than 24 hours after completion of the urine collection.

Collection Information
No Serum Creatinine collection will be requested for patients that have had a Serum Creatinine result in the last 24 hours.
24 hour urine collection without preservative. Keep the 24 hour specimen refrigerated throughout the entire collection period.
