Acetaminophen is readily absorbed from GI Tract. Peak plasma levels after oral administration reached
In 1/2-1 hours. Plasma half-life is normally around 3 hours. If half-life exceeds 4
hours during acute poisoning, hepatic necrosis occurs. Two specimens should be drawn
about 4 hours apart to determine half-life.
