AUTO NUC CSF CT If Nucleated CSF CT result equals Zero no smear is made and no Differential is performed. If Nucleated CSF CT result is 1-5 / mcL a smear is made and scanned but no results are reported unless abnormalities are noted. If Nucleated CSF CT result is 6 /mcL or greater a smear is made and manual differential is performed and reported. Nucleated CSF CT results on a CSF fluid must be correlated with clinical condition.
NUC CSF CT If Nucleated CSF CT result equals Zero no smear is made and no Differential is performed. If Nucleated CSF CT result is 1-5 / mcL a smear is made and scanned but no results are reported unless abnormalities are noted.
