Growth Hormone	Unstimulated hGH values do not have diagnostic relevance due to pulsatile pituitary secretion. In response to provocative agents a peak stimulated hGH concentration less than 7-10 ng/mL has traditionally supported a diagnosis of growth hormone deficiency in a child with clinical signs and symptoms. However this cutoff has not been validated for the Roche assay.
