Eswab: 48 hours ambient or refrigerated

Sterile cup: 24 hours refrigerated (for collection in addition to Eswab)

This order is specific to fluid collected from prosthetic joints ONLY

Place fluid in Eswab, any addidtional fluid in a sterile cup. If only a sterile cup is recieved the anaerobic culture will be canceled.

Cultures are held for 14 days

Monday through Sunday; continuously
