Test Information

Plasma creatinine must be drawn within the time frame of 24 hours prior to the beginning of urine collection, or no later than 24 hours after completion of the urine collection.

Collection Information

No Serum Creatinine collection will be requested for patients that have had a Serum Creatinine result in the last 24 hours. 24 hour urine collection without preservative. Urine must be kept refrigerated during collection.

Shipping and Handling

Urine sample must be received in laboratory within 24 hours of end of collection. Keep urine sample refrigerated until delivered to laboratory.
